TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Second amendment supporters crowded around the Florida Capitol Saturday.
Cities in all 50 states are taking part in the nationwide effort called "Americans for America".
Advocates say, taking guns away from law-abiding citizens isn't going to stop criminals from committing violent acts.
They say they are fighting for the right to defend themselves and their families, if they need to.
"I will use that to protect my family and my country if necessary. There's always incremental violations in loss of freedom," said Howard Wemple, Tallahassee resident. "This is just an incremental step."
Gun advocates across the country are making sure state governments hear their voices.
The message they are sending, stop infringing on our natural rights.
