TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - If you drove past Leon High School Saturday, you probably noticed the big event going on there.
More than a hundred people showed up for Relay for Life.
Cancer survivors, caregivers and supporters of all kinds walked and shared stories about beating cancer. They also participated in fun activities to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
"It's always a great event to come together for a great cause that everybody wants to fight. Most folks in your viewing area has someone are knows someone that's close to them or a love one or neighbor that this has affected," said Mark Feely, a cancer survivor. "So it's a great cause and everybody does really well when it come out to fight for us."
WTXL's newest anchor Stephanie Rank was at the event Saturday, getting her very own “Tally baptism” in the the Dunk Tank.
