TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--Project Backyard Thanksgiving is looking for volunteers to make this holiday a success.
For the last three years, Project Backyard has partnered with "Word Doers Ministries" to serve more than 3,500 meals on to families in need in Thomasville and Thomas County.
Volunteers will be handing out meals on Thanksgiving Day at the MacIntyre Park Middle School Cafeteria. They are looking for help on that day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organizations also need help getting everything squared away prior to the event from 6 to 9 p.m. at the same location.
