Police Search for Suspects in a Home Invasion Near FSU Campus

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., (WTXL) -- Four suspects are on the loose, following a home invasion near Florida State University's campus.

Tallahassee police say it happened in the 100 block of Chapel Drive.

TPD said one of the people who lived at the home was injured with a laceration to the arm. They were treated on scene by EMS and released.

FSU sent out an alert to avoid the area around 12:30a.m.

The suspects were last seen taking off towards Doak Campbell Stadium, according to the alert, but there is no indication that they actually made it on campus.

Tallahassee Police Department K-9 units and officers scoured the area, according to FSU.

One suspect was described as a black man wearing a grey striped "hoodie" jacket.

A second suspect was described as a black man dressed in all black.

There was no descriptions for the other two suspects, but police say, one of the four may be armed with a shotgun.
