TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Police say that a man has died after being hit by a train near the corner of Magnolia Drive and East Tennessee Street.

The Tallahassee Police Department said that around 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday, a passerby called them about a person possibly being hit by a train at Tennessee and Magnolia.
TPD located a male on the south side of the tracks and they said he did die from his injuries. The violent crimes unit is on scene with the forensics team and they are investigating.
They have not yet confirmed the identity of the man who was hit.
