TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department has identified the pedestrian who was killed in a crash on Mission Road.
Police are currently investigating the traffic crash that happened on Mission Road and Gaffney Loop on Wednesday.
Officers and emergency responders were called to the scene at about 8:45 p.m. and provided medical attention to a pedestrian who was hit.
The pedestrian, later identified as 21-year-old Sadeda Abdellnabi, died from her injuries.
TPD has also released the name of the driver, 70-year-old Marylan White.
Traffic Homicide Investigators are asking anyone who may have information about the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit.
They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
