Midway, Fla. (WTXL) - We're learning more details today about the man killed in a car accident last night in Gadsden County.
Police say he was attempting to walk across U.S. 90 near the Flying J Gas station around 12:15 am. When Alex Jermain Kooce of Tallahassee hit him in his ford fusion.
Florida Highway Patrol Troopers say they are investigating the accident, and its possible Kooce faces charges. The man who was killed has not been named.
A witness says he heard the accident happen, and the sound was so loud, he thought two cars had collided.
An FHP report says they are looking into whether Kooce was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
