TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - As younger and younger kids start to use apps, it is important for parents to know how to safely watch their kids.

According to AppInnovators.com, some of the apps your child could download could lead to them being bullied, posting something they shouldn’t or even meeting up with someone they do not know personally.

The CEO of App Innovators explained how parents can be more involved in what apps their kids are using:

"Have more conversations. Be more aware of what is going on in their digital life, because sometimes these kids have completely different digital lives," said Dustin Rivest, the founder and CEO of AppInnovators.com. "I have talked to parents before that are like, 'Oh no! Johnny couldn’t possibly be doing this.' Well no. If you go look at this app, this is what Johnny is doing.”
