TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Twelve jurors and two alternates have been picked after three days of questioning.
The court intended to interview 200 jurors but ended up only sorting through 100.
With opening statements scheduled to start thursday, we're learning there's a long list of potential witnesses who could take the stand. More than 100 names, from law enforcement to experts to relatives of henry segura.
The list includes members of the Tallahassee Police Department, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and the FBI.
Wednesday, both the state and defense worked to finalize the jury that will hear this case where the death penalty could be a factor.
Wednesday morning, we learned that two material witnesses were arrested and brought to Leon County to testify Thursday. Ciesly and Artron Timmons have been charged with contempt of court for not answering summons.
