One person suffers life-threatening injuries in Sandpiper Street shooting

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a shooting where two people were shot, with one victim suffering life-threatening injuries.  

At about 12:21 a.m. Saturday, TPD responded to a shooting near the 2300 block of Sandpiper Street. 

When officers arrived on scene, they saw two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. 

TPD states the victims were taken to a local hospital, with one suffering non-life threatening injures, and the other with life-threatening injuries.  

The case has been assigned to investigators with TPD's Violent Crimes Unit.

TPD says this is currently an active investigation and they will provide updates when they are available.
