Suwannee Co. Fla-- Officers responded to a car accident on I-10 at mile marker 275 that left one person dead, late Sunday night.
Fire rescue units arrived to find a car had rear ended a box truck who was slow after entering the roadway.
The passenger car had massive damage with two patients still trapped inside.
One victim was removed from the vehicle and air lifted to UF Health with serious injuries.The other occupant, 40 year old Kesi Shaw of Hinesville, Ga was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.
I-10 was closed down for several hours because of the vehicle blocking both lanes of travel and to allow Florida Highway patrolmen to conduct an investigation.
