LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Christian Aid Ministries, out of Ohio, drove to Liberty County immediately after Hurricane Michael with food, trucks, and generators to feed the community.

Every day since Saturday, the group has been giving out two warm meals feeding more than a thousand people daily.

And to the locals who are leaving with full bellies, they're more than grateful.

"All the volunteers, everyone that's coming in here from outside and helping us and loving on us, it's just in our greatest time of need," said Tresha Davis, Bristol resident. "And words cannot express how we feel about this. We're just so grateful and so thankful. This has brought us together. This has not torn us apart."

Christian Aid Ministries says they'll be set up and serving meals in Bristol for as long as needed.
