TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL)-  Saturday, when the Florida State Seminoles take on the North Carolina Tarheels, there will be special seating blocked off for a special cause.

Going almost four years strong, the "Noles for Nicole" event is comprised of two parts. The game day portion of the occasion will feature reserved seating with a percentage of ticket sales benefiting the Nicole Marie Garrish Memorial Foundation.

The second segment of the event will feature brunch at The Edison in Cascades Park.

The event is hosted under the foundation founded in memory of the late Nicole Garrish, a Florida State University student and member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. When Garrish passed from an aortic aneurysm, family, friends, and sisters of the Delta Delta Delta sorority contributed to the foundation with scholarships and events in her honor.

Nicole's mother, Anna Garrish said she was surprised by the growth the event has seen

"This year the girls decided to take it to the next level. We scheduled the event for parents weekend. We increased our game day group seating from 50 to 150 and scheduled the brunch on Sunday so it wouldn't interfere with other parent weekend events," said Anna Garrish.

Anna Garrish also said that all the money raised by Nicole's foundation are "Pay it Forward" donations to local charities and multiple scholarships.

She also said that the Nicole Marie Garrish Foundation has continued to bring awareness to heart conditions similar to what Nicole faced. Anna Garrish elaborated on how they have been able to accomplish this.

"In the Atlanta area we held 2 5k's that were sponsored by Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the American Heart Association. We provided our participants with information packets, blood pressure screenings and healthy food options from local physicians and vendors. On the average our events raise approximately $2,500 a year. It's not a lot, but it's a labor of love and the will to help others. "

Tickets are currently sold out for the foundation's seating inside Doak S. Campbell stadium but you can still purchase brunch tickets for Sunday. To learn more you can click here
