MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - We all know springtime brings that "Southern Snow" (or pollen) and can really make keeping your car clean and shiny a hassle.
But that simple chore can be made even more complicated, especially when you have furry family members.
Just ask this Jeep owner from Moultrie whose video has gone viral on multiple Facebook pages, including "Your Daily Dose of Cuteness."
Brett Gerald lives in Moultrie. He shared the video with the caption, "Can’t even wash my dang Jeep."
And although he wasn't actually trying to clean his car, let's face it, the video is hilarious.
"My Jeep was already clean, I was just playing with my dog. He does it every time," said Gerald.
Even though it's just Gerald's dog, Boone, enjoying the water, the video has taken off on social media.
On Gerald's page, the video has been viewed more than 3 million times! It has received more than 12,000 reactions and has been shared more than 51,000 times.
And on "Your Daily Dose of Cuteness," it has been viewed more than 7 million times, received more than 29,000 reactions and been shared more than 99,000 times.
"People love animals and not many people see that side of a dog. I’m so used to him doing it he was about to get in trouble because I was trying to finish up what I was doing but he made me crack up. That’s when I pulled my phone out," explained Gerald when asked why he thought the video was so popular.
Sometimes something as simple as Boone, the German Shorthaired Pointer, diving into a water hose time and time again is enough to have you grinning from ear to ear.
