LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL)--We now know the identity of the woman killed in a three vehicle crash in Lowndes County.

Georgia State Patrol troopers say 38-year old Juana Vargas of Valdosta died.

It happened at the intersection of State Route 31 and Knights Academy Road Thursday night.

Vargas was reportedly driving a Mercury Sable and stopped at the stop sign. As she proceeded, a pick up truck driven by Ottis Williams hit the car.

Troopers say the engine fell out of the Sable and was then hit by a Lincoln Town Car.

The crash is still under investigation.
