TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tapestry Senior Living of Tallahassee is in dire need of assistance.
The Executive Director at Tapestry Senior Living of Tallahassee says that they are in desperate need for beds as more than 100 seniors from Naples, Fla. make their way to Tallahassee.
"We are receiving around 105 seniors tomorrow from a community out of Naples, Florida due to emergency relocation," said Mike Schmidt. "Unfortunately the bed arrangement has fallen [through] on their end."
Now Schmidt is asking for the community's help to make sure the incoming seniors are able to have somewhere to lay their head.
He is asking for any resources in the form of mattresses or pads for the seniors. They are also looking for some volunteers to assist with this quantity of unloading of these residents.
