VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--The U.S. Air Force will deploy a dozen A-10 Thunderbolt II's to Europe this fall in support Operation Atlantic Resolve, according to Moody Air Force Base.
Moody Air Force Base released the following:
The Airmen and support equipment will deploy from the 23rd Wing at Moody Air Force Base to participate in events in Central and Eastern European NATO countries.
This TSP (theater security package) mission is an ongoing way the U.S. helps meet security commitments in Europe. These A-10s will conduct training alongside NATO allies and partners to strengthen interoperability and to demonstrate U.S. commitment to the security and stability of Europe.
