RIVERDALE, Ga. (AP) - Police say two men accused of buying cars with fake movie money have been arrested in suburban Atlanta.

Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera tells local news media that 39-year-old Joseph DeAngelo Lamb and 21-year-old Dominic Darnel Mayberry were arrested Friday in Clayton County. Police say Lamb and Mayberry used the app called "5Miles" to pick out items then meet the sellers to finalize the deal.

Police say the suspects orchestrated scams at least on two occasions within hours of each to purchase vehicles in Loganville and Lawrenceville.

Both are charged with first-degree forgery and theft by deception in connection with the Aug. 14 incident.

Pihera says police found both men based on information on social media.

The Clayton County Sheriff's Office say Lamb and Mayberry will be extradited to Gwinnett County.
