GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Gadsden County woman has been arrested for two counts of medicaid provider fraud.
The Florida Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit arrested Aretha Derrico, who is the owner of a home community based services company called heavenly choices in Gadsden County.
Court documents show Derrico allegedly stole more than $57,000 from the Florida Medicaid Program.
She was taken to the county jail on bail for $10,000.
If convicted, Derrico faces up to 35 years in prison.
