MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) - A Marry Marianna Celebration"set for February will kick off with live entertainment, free food, wedding cake, and fun and games, including the newlywed game.
The event will be Monday, February 26, from 4 - 8 p.m. at Madison Street Park. The commitment ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.
Local talent will be featured. There will be prizes for the best dressed bride and groom, along with other prizes.
The event is set to coincide with a visit from an American Planning Association Community Planning Assistance Team/ Their visit will be from February 25 to March 2.
The team will examine ways to improve economic and residential development and traffic volumes along the Penn Avenue Corridor from I-10 north to US 90.
There will be stakeholder meetings on the mornings of Tuesday, February 27, and Wednesday, February 28.
