TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Florida A&M University alum returned to campus Thursday to inspire and uplift the men who currently attend.

The Manhood on the Go One Brother Two Another Expo is inspiring the men at FAMU to remain in school through networking, a panel discussion, and scholarships.

Manhood on the Go is an organization that works with young black men to help them throughout college and early adulthood.

Founder Iman Sandifer says he saw a need for the program because so many young men lack a positive male role model.

"I remember 2008 when I tried to go Florida A&M when I was matriculating to the campus I couldn't even afford to come up here for orientation," said Sandifer. "My first time coming to Florida A&M was the first day I moved in. I feel like it's my obligation now to give back to the young men on campus."

Through mostly alumni donations, Manhood on the Go, handed out more than $15,000 in scholarships.
