WTXL Road Trip: Colquitt Plans Butterfly Release to Honor Drunk Driving Victims

MOULTRIE, GA (WTXL) - The South Georgia chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is planning a special service to honor victims of drunk driving accidents.

To honor the victims and families of those who have passed in drunk driving accidents, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)'s South Georgia Chapter will be hosting an annual butterfly release event.

Gary Robbinson, South Georgia Chapter leader for Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Roger Hayes of the Governor's Office of Highway Safety met to discuss the significance of the event.

The release will take place this Saturday, July 9th at the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office at 9:45 am.
