TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Police have issued arrest warrants for two staff members at the Magnolia School for failing to report sexual abuse.
According to police, Sunshine Jacobs and Kathleen McGlynn were told by a student about the abuse in January. The staff members then developed developed a “safety plan” for the student which included the victim, suspect and victim’s mother, said police.
The “safety plan” was never conveyed to outside agencies and did not include any notification to DCF, said the police in a news release.
Police said they were notified of the incident by a third party, after another incident of abuse happened in March.
