ADEL, Ga. (WTXL) - South Georgia police say a window tint violation led them to discover "molly" and almost $2,000 in cash. 

The Adel Police Department seized drugs and cash during a traffic stop on Monday. 

Police initially stopped the car on I-75 for a window tint violation, but the two men in the car were arrested for multiple drug and traffic charges, as well as outstanding warrants.

When the officer made contact with the driver Justin Roberson, 28, of Douglasville, Ga. he discovered that Roberson's licence was suspended and he was wanted for outstanding warrants out of Douglasville for child support, child neglect, and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

The passenger Emmanuel Smith, also 28 years old, of Atlanta was also wanted on charges out of Dekalb County for burglary in the 2nd degree, criminal attempt to commit a felony, and criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree.

When the officer searched the car, they found 101 capsules of “Molly”, scales, and other drug related objects. The office also found $3,175 .

The estimated street value of the illegal narcotic was determined as approximately $1,400.

Both suspects are currently being held in the Cook County Jail.
