TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Over 200 students gathered on Florida State's campus today to discuss police brutality, racial discrimination, and other social justice issues.

The two day multicultural summit was put on by FSU's Center of Leadership and Social Change. The event was geared towards enhancing student leadership in the areas of multiculturalism and social justice. This year's theme: lives, liberty, and the politics of happiness. The featured speaker at the event was Black Lives Matter Activist, Shaun King.

The event also provided students with an opportunity to break into small groups and brainstorm how to build a more inclusive and accepting community of their campuses.
