TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Students at Florida State University are discussing ways to keep young professionals in the Capital City.

Florida State University Master of Applied American Politics and Policy students held the Roundtable at City Hall. Participants discussed current and future strategies.

According to organizers, FSU's MAAPP program, and other applied graduate programs, give working professionals the opportunity to pursue a career while furthering their education contributing to the retention of young talent.

Representative Al Lawson was present for today's discussion.

Other local leaders present for today's meeting included Leon County Commissioner John Dailey as well as City Commissioner Curtis Richardson.
