TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — It can be hard to find a job, especially for those who have previously been on drugs or in prison.

But one Tallahassee man is using his car washing business as a way to take chances on those who need it most.

If you drive past the South side Shopping Plaza on South Adams Street, you'll likely see a line of cars at Brad's Detail and Car Wash.

"A lot of cars come in here with interior damage and outside damage and we kind of restore it," said Randy Hunter.

But at Brad's, the cars aren't the only things being restored.

"Second chances really do happen when you come out here. It's actually a family out here," said Jeffrey Pablo Adams.

The couple dozen employees at the car wash are all people who were down on their luck and in need of that second chance.

"Brad opened arms to me. I recently was incarcerated and now I'm on probation with an ankle monitor," said Justin O'Farrell.

Brad and his Dad started the business as a way to help out those in need on the Southside of Tallahassee.

From the eager grins of the customers, to the laughter of the employees, to the proud dad by the owners side, Brad's Detail and Car Wash is offering a clean slate for everyone involved.

The owner says he also takes the time to connect with his customers, in hopes of changing as many lives as he can.
