TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) -- The Economic Development Council of Tallahassee / Leon county announces the next featured "Made in Tallahassee" business this afternoon. Full Press Apparel on West Gaines Street was honored today by the council.

The family-owned business creates custom t-shirts and promotional items.

"Made in Tallahassee" is a public awareness campaign that focuses on the importance that research and development, manufacturing, software development, and technology industries play in the success of the local economy. The council says they chose Full Press Apparel, which has been in Tallahassee since 1997, because their products have a wide reach throughout the country.

"The relationships. It's what makes being a business in Tallahassee so important", said Danny Shrine, owner of Full Press, "There's such a vibrant business and association non profit community here in Tallahassee with the ability to meet so many people so dedicated to growing their business or serving the community. And the role that we're able to play in that has been the most rewarding part."
