Live Oak Police are investigating a night deposit armed robbery

LIVE OAK,Fla. (WTXL)--Live Oak Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the First Federal Savings Bank on North Ohio Avenue on Saturday June 15, at 1:30am.

When Officers arrived to the delay robbery call, they came in contact with two male victims who where making a nightly deposit for a local fast food restaurant where they work.

Police say one of the local restaurant workers approached the night deposit box and shortly after that two unidentified black males stepped out from behind the bushes and flashed a gun. The victim handed over the bag of money after it was demanded from the two unidentified males.

Once the men got the bag of money in their possession, they took off on foot heading southbound towards Hamilton Avenue.
