LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL) -- The Live Oak community continues to pray for a missing 22-year-old Suwannee County man, last seen the day after Thanksgiving of last year in North Carolina.

A prayer vigil was held Tuesday night at Millennium Park in honor of finding Cole Thomas.

Since the time Cole was reported missing, over 1,500 hours were spent on the investigation by the Benson Police Department and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.

That hasn't stopped his family or the Suwannee County community from trying to find him -- months after his disappearance.

"We search any road that we can possibly think that he could possibly be," said Teresa Cruce, Cole's cousin. "We have searched inside of Benson, outside of Benson, and we are still searching."

"My heart tells me that he is out there somewhere, and we want him home," said Cole's grandmother Gwyn Herrington.

The family has faith Cole is alive and waiting to be found.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Benson Police Department at (919) 894-2091.
