TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tiny homes have become so popular.
That is why Tuesday night there was a unanimously approved proposal to amend the Florida Building Code so there are specific requirements for the tiny homes that have become so popular.
Before the approval, there wasn't a code to specifically address tiny houses like The Dwellings, which you see on your screen.
The amendment address things like loft-access for the two-story homes and gives more clear-cut options to developers without the hassle of having to wait for separate approval for each and every concept.
