LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office has partnered with an app to provide residents with up to date local crime and safety information.
LCSO is partnering with the 'Neighbors' app by Ring. The app is currently used nationwide and has helped law enforcement in catching thieves, burglars, and keeping neighborhoods safe.
LCSO said residents can join by downloading the 'Neighbors' app, finding your neighborhood in the app, and using it to monitor neighborhood activity, share crime and safety-related videos, photos and textbased posts, and receive real-time safety alerts from your neighbors, local law enforcement and the Ring team.
“This is another opportunity for Leon County residents to be “All In” with our deputies and neighbors in our fight against crime in their neighborhoods," said Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil.
