OCALA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a woman with special needs was killed and five other people were injured in a north Florida traffic crash.

The Ocala Star-Banner (http://goo.gl/DhskkO ) reports that a van was transporting residents from New Discovery Family Group Home in Silver Spring Shores to an appointment Wednesday morning when it crashed near Forest High School. Florida Highway Patrol reports that the van's driver was swerving to avoid a truck when the van overturned.

Authorities say 28-year-old Heather Baker was killed in the crash. Two special needs adults and the van's driver were critically injured. Two other special needs passengers were hospitalized in fair condition.

The crash remained under investigation.
