VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - The sister of the late Kendrick Johnson was shot on Monday morning.
According to the Valdosta Police Department at approximately 2:30am Monday morning, Kenyetta Johnson was shot inside a vehicle in front of a convenience store at 600 E. Hill Avenue.
Police are saying that Johnson was shot in the back by a passenger in the vehicle and that at this time it appears to be an accident.
Police say that the Johnson is in good condition at South Georgia Medical Center.
Police originally said Johnson is 12-years-old but later corrected, saying that the victim is 22.
