JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A Jacksonville man convicted of manslaughter for running over his girlfriend after an argument has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The Florida Times-Union reports (http://bit.ly/2bMXFGy ) that 46-year-old Marcus Earl Gray ran over girlfriend Latatsha Joyce at a Jacksonville truck lot in 2014.

Gray told police the two had an argument in his truck just after midnight on Jan. 10, 2014 and he pushed her out.

Prosecutors said Gray then sped off, running her over. He later returned, put her back in the truck and eventually took her to the hospital, where she died.

Gray was convicted last month.
