QUITMAN, GA (WALB) - On August 12, about 11:30 pm, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested to assist the Quitman Police Department with the homicide of Jasmine Davis, 29.
Davis was found shot off of South Culpepper Street at approximately 10:20 pm when they were located in an alley by a passerby.
EMS responded and transported Davis to the hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
Davis's body has been taken to the GBI Crime Lab in Macon where an autopsy will be conducted.
