TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Steve Spradley to the Taylor County Board of County Commissioners on Friday.
Spradley, 62, of Perry, is the emergency management director for Taylor County.
He previously served as a deputy sheriff in the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department and as a law enforcement major in the Florida Department of Financial Services.
Spradley is appointed to fill a vacant seat created by the passing of county commissioner Frank Russell.
His term started Friday and will run to Nov. 13, 2018.
