GADSDEN COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - Gadsden County Deputies hope you can help them catch two men, who they say, held an elderly woman at gun point, while robbing her home.

Deputies say they then fled to an I-10 rest stop, where the two shot a man's dog while trying to rob him.

The sheriff's office says the first robbery happened Wednesday, April 13th on West 8th Street in Greensboro. According to deputies, they held the elderly woman up at gunpoint, before running off with jewelry and other items.

Deputies say, the two, who are identified as black males, drove off in a light-colored sedan.

Deputies say the two were then seen at an I-10 rest stop in Chattahoochee -- where they tried to rob a man and his dog. The dog was shot by the suspects while trying to protect his owner. The sheriff's office says the dog is expected to be okay.

Deputies are asking if you know anything about the suspects or these robberies to call them at (850) 627-9233.
