TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce is holding their yearly retreat at Amelia Island.
One of the topics discussed at this year's retreat is Florida State's plan to create an "arena district."
The master plan outlines a future convention center, a new hotel, more parking, and an expanded basketball training center. The plan would also involve the relocation of FSU's college of business.
According to officials, the project would have a huge economic impact.
Officials say the big push is to relocate the college of business. They expect designing to be worked through within 24 to 36 months.
