TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - FSU's Relay for Life is doing a big fundraising push on this Giving Tuesday.

They are trying to raise $25,000 in 24 hours! This is the first time they are doing this.

It's part of the American Cancer Society's' campaign to raise $1 million Tuesday.

"Because it's Giving Tuesday and the national day of giving, the American Cancer Society is having an entire campaign about raising $1 million," said Gabriela Paris, the executive director of FSU Relay for Life. "So as Relay for Life of FSU, we wanted to contribute to that by raising $25,000."

The campaign began at 9 a.m. and ends at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
