TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A famous scientist will be coming to Tallahassee to share his story about being a whistle blower against Big Tobacco companies.
Doctor Victor DeNoble worked in the Tobacco industry during the 80's and later helped bring to light the dangers of the industry.
The event is a part of American Heart Month with Tobacco Free Leon.
Doctor DeNoble explains why he goes to cities to share his experiences.
"I want people to understand what the tobacco industry knew and What they covered up, and what is the state of the tobacco industry today. What are they doing today that we should know about," said Dr. DeNoble.
There are two presentations on Sunday from Doctor DeNoble. One at 9 a.m. and the other at 11:30 a.m. both are open to the public.
Both will be held in the Ornate Chorus Ballroom at the Four Points Sheraton.
