BUNNELL, FL. (AP) - The former elections chief in Flagler County has been charged with making illegal recordings of conversations.

Kimberle Weeks was arrested Wednesday on 12 counts of illegally intercepting communication and disclosing communications.

Bail was set at $12,000, and she was released a short time after being booked.

An indictment shows Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner, Palm Coast's city clerk and a Flagler County judge were among the people she recorded.

Florida law makes it illegal to record conversations unless all parties have consented.

Weeks resigned from the office earlier this year. She was first elected to the job in 2008.

Online court records didn't list an attorney for Weeks.
