TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Friends and family remembered 26 year old Antwon Frost, a musician, a father, and a receiver for the Tallahassee Wolves football team.

Director of Football operations for Tallahassee Wolves, Amanda Grey, remembers Frost for his positivism, "he was always trying to uplift everyone on the team. If we were losing or something he would try and uplift everyone's spirits. He would try to encourage them to do better, very supportive."

Frost was killed Monday night in a shooting at an apartment complex at 1111 High Road.

Tallahassee Police Public Information officer, David Northway, says the department does not receive many homicide calls from that area, "it's actually a student section where they are many many people there at all hours of the day and night because of schedules...some students are going to evening classes, night classes, morning classes....I can't remember the last time we got a homicide call from that area."

Authorities have not released a suspect at this time, but are asking anyone who might have witnessed the incident to call them at 891-4200.
