(WTXL/NWS) -- The cold front responsible for the storminess across North Florida & South Georgia has pushes out of the region but not before leaving its mark on several states in the southeast.

The National Weather Service in Jackson, Mississippi surveyed the damage and confirmed that there has been an EF-2 in Rose Hill, two EF-1s in Covington County, and one EF-0 tornado near Oak Vale (all in Mississippi).

On Sunday, January 4th, the Storm Prediction Center had over 20 preliminary wind reports, including damage to local counties. One of the storm reports involved a roof being blown off in Mitchell county and another involved Brookfield Church in Tift County suffering wind damage. There were two preliminary tornado reports as well. NWS will send a survey team to review local damage in Tift County.
