TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - Florida State Parks are honoring area Veterans for Veterans Day.
Wednesday, All Florida State Parks are offering free admission into park grounds.
For some it's not just free admission they're offering, several parks, including Wakulla Springs State Park are hosting special events. Wakulla Springs State Park will be showing what life was like in Wakulla during World War II. The event will feature artifacts and memorabilia from Camp Gordon Johnson in the lobby of the lodge, as well as a historic film of troop training maneuvers conducted at Wakulla Springs in the early 1940's.
