Fire at Perma-Fix in Valdosta

VALDOSTA, Ga. -- The Perma-Fix Environmental Services building caught fire in Valdosta Thursday morning, according to the Valdosta Fire Department.

Fire officials say the building was on fire for more than an hour.

Perma-Fix is a company that processes hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including aerosol cans and ink paste, for businesses. It is located in Valdosta's industrial park.
