LEON Co., FL (WTXL) - Authorities say the death of a 75-year-old woman found inside a blazing mobile home was accidental.
According to the Leon County Sheriff's Office, Ruth Jones was found inside the single-wide mobile home after the Tallahassee Fire Department put out the fire.
Deputies and firefighters were called out to the house fire on Walkabout Lane around 10 p.m. Monday night.
At the time they believed a resident was still inside. Firefighters were able though to put the fire out quickly.
But, deputies say Jones was already dead when they found her.
At this time, her death is believed to be accidental. However, the State Fire Marshal's office is still investigating to determine the cause of death.
