VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - A driver threw a glass bottle at a group of bicyclists in Lowndes County over the weekend and the incident was captured on video, according to authorities.
The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office says the cyclists were riding on Old State Road around 4 p.m. on Sunday when a person driving a pickup truck threw the bottle at the group.
Deputies say the bottle missed the cyclists however glass shards did hit riders when it shattered after striking the ground.
One of the riders had a video camera mounted on their bicycle and Deputies say the incident was captured on camera.
WTXL has made a request to obtain the video however Deputies did release still shots of the truck the bottle was thrown from.
