TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A chilly morning at Lake Ella didn't stop dozens of dogs and their owners from having some holiday fun.
Tallahassee Big Dog Rescue teamed up with veterinary clinics, animal shelters and rescue groups for the 22nd annual Santa Paws Walk.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes were dressed up to compete in fun contests, including "Best Behaved Dog" and "Smallest Holiday Cutie."
Many of the dogs are ready to be adopted or fostered. Several took home special trophies, and raffle prizes were given out as well.
After the competition, the dogs took pictures with Santa and walked around Lake Ella.
