Deputies Warn of Suspicious Man Seen Talking to Tallahassee Children

TALLAHASSE, FL (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office is issuing a warning to parents in Tallahassee, as they search for suspicious person they say was walking with two children.

According to LCSO, a concerned adult saw the unknown person walking with the children who were riding their bicycles. They say the adult told the children to go home and the person drove away.

The children told deputies they were riding their bikes on Hawks Hill Trail and Briar Creek when the unknown man stopped to talk to them, saying he needed help finding a lost shoe.

He's described as black, between 50 and 60 years old, 6'0 tall with a skinny build. He has a short black goatee and a short low fade black hair with some grey in it. Deputies say he was driving a dirty sedan.
